Jill Smith and Bobby Fisher were no strangers to WCET.
We had developed a friendship with them ever since they hosted a 25th anniversary special for the station. They also appeared in a Christmas Special we produced for WCET/WKRC and a pilot for a show called "Next Stop Nashville" (a country version of a talent contest not unlike today's American Idol - but in the late 70's). When RATB was being conceived we were thrilled that we could finally feature the whole band!.
